Bullying What is bullying? We might have seen it every day, and we still do not know what it is. In the short story â€Å"Black Boy,† Richard Wright shows how he was bullied as a young African American boy. However, bullying is not limited to one type of person living in one time period. It still exists today in the form of young people getting bullied on the streets, and at school. It could be very harmful, and could lead to serious damages, but sometimes it could help by making people stand up for themselves, or it would cause more harm. First of all, how to define bullying? Some people bully and some get bullied for many reasons, but in some cases it could be very harmful and people should do some things to make the bullying end. One of†¦show more content†¦It is true in some cases as in the story â€Å"Black Boy,† but bullying can make those people feel lonely and scared, and believe there is something truly wrong with them and that could cause sickness. If someone is being bullied, the â€Å"What’s Bullying† article suggested they should try and ignore the bullies, and telling them to stop and walk away. If that does not work then they should tell an adult, and an adult can do something to stop the bullying (What’s bullying). The story of Seth and Kayla getting bullied was tough for them and any other child who has happened the same in their ages at school. As the â€Å"Helping Kids Deal with Bullies† article informed, Seth was a ten-year-old boy who would go up to his mother each day and ask her to give him more money for lunch. But he still seemed skinnier than ever and always hungry when he got back home. So it turned out that Seth gives his money every day to a fifth-grader, who threatened that he would beat him up if he did not pay him his lunch. Also the â€Å"Helping Kids Deal with Bullies† article tells that, Kayla was a thirteen-year-old girl, who thought she was in high spirits at school since all the popular girls used to treat her well. One day, one of those popular girls posted a nasty rumour about her on a website.
